    We are currently looking to add the talents of a Senior DevOps Engineer to our team.  The successful candidate will work collaboratively with infrastructure, development and operation teams to help automate and streamline CI/CD processes and toolsets for secure enterprise and software as a service application within the AWS environment.  As a senior member of the team, you will drive the design, implementation, testing, deployment and post-release production support.  The successful candidate will assume the following responsibilities: 


    Job Role and Responsibilities

    Includes but not limited to:

    • Analyze, design, and implement strategies for continuous deployment of enterprise and software as a service application while ensuring high availability on pre-production and production systems
    • Create and maintain the end-to-end automated application delivery across DevOps tool chains and cloud platforms
    • Oversee the coordination, integration, and flow of development, testing, and deployment to support continuous delivery
    • Provide an extremely reliable and secure enterprise environment that is fully automated and free from obstacles
    • Operate effectively across development platforms, tools, networks, servers and databases, and even across development and support


    Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
    • AWS Certification
    • A minimum of 5 years of successful customer engagements providing continuous delivery solutions employing AWS
    • A minimum of 5 years of hands on experience working with core AWS technologies, considering the following:
    • Security (IAM, KMS, SSM, Policies, Encryption)
    • Networking (VPC, Security Groups, Load balancers (ALB, NLB), Route53 (DNS)
    • Compute (EC2 Instances, Proficiency in Linux, Snapshot Management, AMI, Auto Scaling)
    • Storage (EBS, S3 Buckets, Glacier)
    • Serverless (Lambda)
    • CDN (Content Delivery Network)
    • RDS (Postgrest)
    • CloudFormation Templating
    • Microservices (ECR, (ECS or Kubernetes on EC2), Service Discovery
    • Monitoring (CloudWatch, ELK, Alerts)
    • Application Integration (SQS, SNS)
    • Experience managing and deploying MicroServices using Kubernetes
    • Proficient in system design and architecture
    • Experience in laying out non-functional qualities in the platform including resiliency, scalability, security, and lineage
    • Experience and ability to setup automated monitoring and alerting systems
    • Experience with estimating AWS usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
    • Passion for automation of everything to release fast, frequently, and reliably
    • Experience establishing and employing CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Bamboo (JIRA), GIT, Maven, Mercurial, etc.)
    • Experience with automation and configuration management using a variety of tools (Gradle, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, etc.)
    • Familiarity with logging/monitoring using tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.
    • Fluent in Java or other object-oriented programming languages and a strong background in RHEL/CentOS systems administration
    • Scripting experience in languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Excellent team player

    Additional Assets:

    • Experience in healthcare IT (understand domain, workflows and terminology)
    • Familiarity with CI/CD in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
    • Willingness to travel
    • Bilingual - French an English
