    Accreon is currently looking to add the talents of a UX Designer to our team.  The successful candidate will work with a requirements team to gather, define and refine UX requirements within a Product Backlog (PBL).  You will be responsible for in-depth understanding of users and translating this knowledge into UX wireframes, prototypes, etc. to ensure a great user experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Take a user-centered design approach, carrying out iterative cycles of prototyping and testing whenever possible.
    • Translate user goals, behaviours, and requirements into designs that lead to intuitive user experiences.
    • Create design artefacts such as user journeys, IAs, mock-ups, wireframes, at appropriate fidelity for the project needs.
    • Carry out evaluative user research and usability testing.
    • Create designs optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
    • Ensure design quality by giving and soliciting constructive feedback from peers and team members.
    • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree/certificate in computer science or UX design, or related technical field (or equivalent).
    • 3+ years of UX design experience.
    • Solid grasp of user-centered design methodologies, with deep understanding of design best practices, mobile-first, and responsive design.
    • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet user needs and vision.
    • Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
    • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
    • Willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experiences.
    • Open to receiving and providing feedback and constructive criticism.
    • Passionate about all things UX, design, and innovation.

     

    Additional Assets:

    • Familiarity with and willingness to carry out generative user research as required.
    • Experience working within an Agile development environment.
    • Knowledge in the healthcare domain, systems, users, and workflows.
    • Willingness to travel.
