    We are currently looking to add the talents of a Junior DevOps Engineer to our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with infrastructure, development and operation teams to help automate and streamline CI/CD processes and toolsets for high availability, secure, scalable enterprise and software as a service application within the AWS environment. As a member of the team, you will assist in the implementation, testing, deployment and post-release production support.

    Responsibilities

    Job Role and Responsibilities
    Includes but not limited to:

    • Assist development and operations teams in resolving application deployment/ integration issues for both IaaS and PaaS services
    • Participate in support teams to triage and remediate public cloud infrastructure issues
    • Work closely with Architects/DevOps to design and develop automation pipelines
    • Work with developers to optimize applications for performance and scale
    • Administer cloud resources (AWS, etc.) and provide guidance on utilization
    • Ensure the release of code safely, securely and frequently
    • Investigate and adopt new technologies/tools as needs arise

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field (or equivalent related qualifications such as Community College)
    • Experience with Linux as a system admin or developer
    • Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code tooling. Terraform and Ansible are preferred
    • Experience using the latest industry CI/CD patterns and tooling
    • Experience with container technologies such as Docker
    • Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions
    • Understanding of security principles and their application
    • Experience in scripting/coding using Python, Ruby, PHP, Bash
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Professional commitment to high quality
    • Passion for automation of everything to release fast, frequently, and reliably
    • Passion for learning new concepts and technologies
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Independent and self-motivated
    • Excellent team player

    Additional Assets:

    • Experience in healthcare IT (understand domain, workflows and terminology)
    • Experience working with cloud resources such as AWS, Azure or GCP
    • Cloud Certification, AWS preferably
    • Willingness to travel
    • Bilingual - French an English
